The Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers held its 50th anniversary conference 30 October to 3 November at Anaheim California. TIO staff were there to support the NOIRLab US-ELTP booth, answering questions about what it's like to work in the largest telescopes ever built. Ben Irarrazaval, middle of the picture, represented TMT as a senior adaptive optics electronics engineer and talked about the engineering going into the TMT International Observatory. Ben said he enjoyed the conference and hopes to see some of you in US-ELTP engineering in the future!
