From 16–21 June, the Thirty Meter Telescope (TMT) International Observatory (TIO) and US-ELTP partners are gathering in Yokohama, Japan for SPIE astro 2024, the conference dedicated to advancing astronomical engineering around the globe.
Monday 17 June, in Yokohama, Tomonori Usuda and Yuko Kakazu of the National Astronomical Observatory of Japan will discuss Japan's contributions to the Thirty Meter Telescope and their community engagement in Hawaiʻi.
