Hawai'i Keiki Museum and Maunakea Observatories are gathering for Ellison Onizuka Day in Kailua Kona on Sunday 28 January from 10 AM to 2 PM. The event celebrates the legacy of local hero Ellison Shoji Onizuka, the first Asian American to reach space.
TIO will join the celebration and host a booth with fun hands-on activities beside the UH Institute of Astronomy, Subaru Observatory, Hawai'i Community College, Palamanui, MK Visitor Information Station, and more to present space exploration.
